Optic fiber for All

The Digital Economy Minister Pastor Ngoua Neme, signed yesterday the the convention of public service for the operation of the national backbone (phase 1) and the Gabonese branch of the submarine cable ACE.

the signing was between the company’s heritage of digital infrastructures (SPIN) represented by Axcele Kissangou-Mouele (DG) et Axione/Bouygues Energie & Services, represented by Pierre-Eric Saint-André to permit optic fiber for all.

This signing is a small revolution for Gabon’s ITC development. All internet access providers such as (Solsi, Ipi9, Wifly, Airtel, Moov, Azur, TLDC, Digicom, Internet Gabon...) could from now on benefit directly from the optical fiber via the submarine cable ACE.

Thus, they will overcome the dependence on a single operator and be more practicable and reliable for their own subscribers.
