Gabon, Cameroon, and Chad to raise 670 billion CFA francs from BEAC

Gabon, Cameroon, and Chad will raise 670 billion CFA francs of Government securities this year on the central African Bank market (BEAC), said the financial institution.
It is the largest operation of Government securities in the zone CEMAC (economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) since 2011.

Gabon will attempt to raise 135 billion CFA francs BEAC, including 105 billion CFA francs by emissions of BTA and 30 billion CFA francs by emissions of OTA market

For their part, Cameroon remains the main host of the market with forecasts of public securities for a total of 375 billion CFA francs, of which 55 billion CFA francs will be used for payments of interest discounted on comparable Treasury emissions (BTA).

Chad counts raise 160 billion CFA francs, including 130 billion CFA francs by emissions of BTA and 30 billion CFA francs per bond of comparable Treasury (OTA).
