Chess tournament in Libreville

The Associations for the Development of Chess in Gabon (ADEG) organizes its second edition of the Libreville chess championship last Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd at casino Croisette.

During two days, among 20 candidates children and adults who took part the competition. Jean Pierre Moulain’s mother was the patron of the competition and honorific chair of the associations.

The winner of the competition is Barthélemy Bongo Akanga Ndjila who earnd a prize of 200.000 CFA Francs followed by Eric Brunet.

As for the children, it is Olivier Yala who was the big champion and took the amount of 90.000 CFA francs, right before Alexis Rusquet who get 40,000 CFA Francs.

The ADEG took advantage of the competition to invite people to play chess for its virtues. For initiated develop good skills such as critical mind, open minding and respect.
