Police arrests Annie Léa Meye and Georgette Toussain for the burn out of Benin Embassy to Gabon

Two opposition leaders’ followers Annie Léa Meye and Georgette Toussaint were arrested early Sunday morning in the case of the burning of the Embassy of Benin in Libreville, announced the president of the United Front of opposition, Jean Dedieu Iwangou Moukagni.

The two followers, Annie Léa Meye and Georgette Toussaint are enclosed to the police station where they were questioned on Sunday.

A source close to the Interior Ministry confirmed the arrest and said that other arrests would take place in the next few hours.

These arrests followed the burning out of the Benin Embassy to Gabon last Sunday after the announcement of André Mba Obame’s death.
