AFD to boost Gabon’s health sector

The French Development Agency (AFD) will support Gabon in building about thirty health centers in Gabon’s regional towns, said Friday the French Ambassador to Gabon, Dominique Renaux, to Gabon’s health Minister Jean Pierre Oyiba.

The French diplomat discussed the cooperation between France and Gabon, and especially the place of the AFD in the development and the implementation of the Gabonese health sector.

“The AFD finished last year, its first convention on rehabilitating 7 maternities in Libreville and in the Woleu Ntem province. This time, the convention will go to 4 other provinces. The project aims at building about thirty well equipped health center with training equipment” said the French Ambassador.
