The European Union granted the National Parks Agency (ANPN) with about 1.35 billion CFA Francs as part of the sectorial governance program fund (PAGOS).
The PAGOS program has four major activities, in which the first is to create and animate local management parks of Tridom and Chaillu landscapes", said Jean Baptiste Squarcini from the ANPN.

’The goal is to create platforms that will allow all actors present surrounding national parks to participate fully in the management of the activities of these parks’, added the representative of the Program.

The PAGOS program will implement and strengthen the air monitoring program of national parks agency and simultaneously empower Gabon in the fight against poaching.
