Gabonese protesting in France
by Khephren Fanga
As announced on the Gabonlibre website earlier in the week, Gabonese expatriates in France have undertaken a peaceful protest against what they call the "dictatorial regime" in Gabon.
It seems they are protesting against the recent events that have taken place in Gabon during the education crisis where policemen and the army were apparently witnessed to have hit students and launched gas at them during their peaceful march.
The lack of human rights, hospitals, electricity and water is also denounced by these groups who are simultaniously holding a sit in at the French Embassy in Gabon where it is reported that one of the leaders was brutalized by the forces of security.
More on this during the day....
