Gabon wins 4 seats in World FIFA ranking

Despite its great loss during AFCON Gabon through its performances won 4 places in the last FIFA world ranking going from 62nd to 58th at the global level and placed 16th at the continental level.

Here is the release from February 12th: Equatorial Guinea has the best progression of this ranking, winning 69 seats to lie in 49th position globally and 12th to the African plan. The semifinalist Congo, also enters the top global 50, where it lies in 46th position.

Algeria rank is 18th on the world map. It keeps its position as African leader and ahead, as such, the champion of Africa, Côte d’Ivoire.

At the global level, Germany retains his seat as leader, followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and Netherlands. Next publication of the Fifa ranking is scheduled for March 12th.
