Libreville, June 26th, 2015 – Gabon’s President Ali Bongo Ondimba condemns firmly the hideous attacks committed this day in France, Tunisia and Kuwait on civilian populations, in which the provisional estimate states dozens of victims.

While the Muslim community of the whole world gathered for its second Big prayer of the blessed month of Ramadan today, and a few months only after the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris and the bloody attack of the National Museum of Bardot in Tunisia, the Gabonese President calls the international community to unite and join efforts in the fight against extremism and inhumanity :

"Gabon, bound to the human and universal values of peace, coexistence, tolerance and dialogue, condemns with the biggest strength this heinous attack which goes against all the principles of the Islam. May these vile acts strengthen the determination of the international community in its fight against the terrorist threat under all its forms and demonstrations. "

President Ali Bongo Ondimba expressed this evening by letter his sincere condolences and biggest solidarity to French President François Hollande, Tunisian President Caïd Essebsi, President of the Republic, Her(His) Highness Cheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait and Her(His) Excellency Monsieur Cheikh Jaber Al-Moubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.
