Arc Emeraude project scientific committee held last Thursday at Akouango in northern Libreville a meeting to validate the protection of Libreville’s green belt “Grand Libreville”.

The Arc Emeraude project aims at promoting and protecting the Akanda, Pongara and l’Aboretum Raponda Walker national parks in order to protect the Gabonese ecosystem.
The strategy adopted suggests the amelioration of economic scientific knowledge and their dynamic evolution.

The setting of efficient monitoring, pressure characterizations, a communication of the scientific change to a large public as well as institutional reinforcement capacity.

This strategy will also be a relevant tool for boosting in long term Gabon’ sustainable and ecological ecosystem.
