Teachers go on undetermined strike
During a General Assembly held last Saturday at Cité de la Democratie, the United Dynamic Union, in which is part the National Teachers Union and some other unions, decided to go back on undetermined strike.
The unionists blamed the salaries omission as well as the Teachers and incentive premium non-payment. “Even if we began to pay the Teachers and incentive, the omission of the Teachers and incentive premium do not favor things in the sector of the education" said Louis Patrick Mombo, representative of the National teacher convention.
The civil servants said they so far did not find any compromise with the government despite the new elaborated payment system. This strike could seriously undermine the examination of the end of the year such as A leval and O level.
