Junior Achievement Gabon held yesterday at its headquarters a meeting on fundraising for startups. The presentation was made by the expert Serge Delonay of the microfinance Gabonese (Gamifi).

The presentation aims to help startups to "realize that we live in a world where we are interacting and cannot develop alone without help. And that we shouldn’t expect everything from banks.” We must therefore find intermediate ways to develop our projects.

During his intervention, Serge Delonay talked about the mechanisms of financing, including the capital, debt, grants, foundations, the crowd funding and other instruments still very little developed in our country.

From his point of view, the capital is crucial when we have a business venture. "In almost all cases, we need capital; we need money, before we start a project.

As he talked to start up which are small projects, he concluded that “ smaller projects such as those pictured here in the incubator, it is sure that micro-Bank will help them effectively, unlike banks which are much more demanding. So, I think that the development of microenterprises through the micro banks.”
