Workshop to prepare the Gabon-China forum
WWF-Gabon, Civil society, technical administration and financial partners gathered since today for a workshop on the preparation of the 6th forum China-Africa. According to the WWF-Gabon Program coordinator Brice Nganda, the workshop will take into consideration the experts and main stakeholders’ viewpoint to enrich the forum préparation.
The workshop bas also to provide with an African strategy to ensure Gabon’s sustainability. It also has to identify key elements Gabon needs for a bilateral negotiation between China and Gabon.
“We are here to defend the local interest of the community as part of the China’s investment in Gabon.” Said civil society leader Constant Allegro.
