The AfDB to support Gabon’s economy diversification

The African Development Bank (BAD) Central Africa CEO Marlène Kanga assured last Friday the commitment of the Bank to support Gabon in the diversification of its economy.

At the end of the two weeks workshop in Libreville with sectorial chargés “the BAD elaborated an intervention plan for a period of 5 years” said the BAD Central Africa representative Marlène Kanga during a meeting with Gabon’s Economy Minister Régis Immongault.

The BAD intends to tackle two paramount pillars: first, making sure the energy reaches the consumption and production center thus, land transportation will be boosted.
Second, making concrete the improvement of the agricultural sector through water supply access and healthy living conditions of the Gabonese people.
