Gabon sets up a return plan on the EITI
The return plan contains two big phases. The first one will concern the implementation of the reforms allowing meeting the requirements of the EITI. The second phase concerns the presentation of Gabon’s candidacy in the international Secretarial department of the EITI.
Previously, Gabon decided to set up a new Group of interest answering the new stakes in the EITI.
The file(is piloted by the Economy Ministry which held last year a forum on the question.
Last Thursday already, the Gabonese government appointed Michel Antseleve as new president of the group of interest EITI.
